There are a number of NPC interactions that have been coded, but essentially go ignored. These can vary between pirate or interdiction comments, intercepted communications, or authority scans etc.
It would be handy to have a set of auto text responses in the comment windows so for instance you could be kind, belligerent, rude, hostile, etc towards the entity talking to you.
This could even have in game consequences, for instance for every positive/cordial response to the authority after a scan your likelihood of being scanned by that faction/authority goes down by 1% to a maximum of 10%, while for every negative or belligerent response it goes up by 1% up to 10%. For every two lacks of response the chance moves 1% closer to neutral.
Similarly certain responses may either trigger or put off an interdictor. Those responses could always be used with other players as well, but is a quick way to select a response to interaction within the game.
