I did buy Elite Dangerous on Steam a few years back, I was a huge fan of Frontier, ran really well on Amiga, unlike many other Amiga games the FPS really scaled up as the CPU was upgraded.
I did only log 56 hours to it according to Steam, but didn't play for a while.
I now noticed Elite Dangerous has disappear from my Frontier account, even though I still have it on steam. I tried linking the account, didn't work ("No eligible product on the linked steam account"), I also tried re-redeeming the Steam key, also didn't work (cd key already used in the past)
I guess what happened is that my account was deleted as I spent too long without login. I probably ignored a few email saying "you need to accept the new CGU otherwise we'll delete your account" or such... ? My account still works though, it's just that I don't seem to have E : D on it.
Now I understand this is probably my fault and I'll need to buy the game a second time if I want to keep playing. Is there any kind of discount in situation like that ? Or at least a way to keep/transfer my progress in the game ?
If you need to verify my purchase history, my steam account is linked to my Frontier account, which in turn is linked to this forum account.
