Restriced NAT even though ive port forwarded

Hey

So as the title says, ive just bought the game and when i checked through all the options i noticed i had a restricted NAT, so i went and port forwarded the ports and alas its still restricted, ive tried DMZ and still nothing, is this a common thing? ive googled it and no luck there.

any help would be apreciated

Just to be sure: have you added the port and changed upnpenabled to "0" in <Network> -section of AppConfig.xml

Then I'm afraid I'm out of my depth here, sorry.
Might boil down to the specifics of your router and ISP.

Oh, another thing that might have an effect or might not:
have you set the internal ip of your gaming PC as static?

No worries, ive spent the past 3 hours now trying to fix this and still no luck, i give up, i'll just stay restricted, maybe it will magically change along the way

If your ISP sub rents from another provider it could be that sub rented access dropping packets over the port tested...
The ISP is not doing any thing, so when you ask them they are correct there not dropping data as its not there network, its who they rent from and resell as tthat is...

Did it work before you started fiddling with it? My game works fine with "Port Restricted NAT" in the Network Options. That just describes how your router handles the NAT.

the game works other than random black screen flickers constantly, just from xbox days having a restricted nat, i remember it being a problem so i wanted to fix it.
thanks for the help guys either way, but still no luck.
