I am a man who does not wish to call myself Caleb Wycherley. To effectively counter and obfuscate the warning statements of Aegis and other leadership organizations, myself and an unknown number of other entities now declare we are the criminal paramilitary organization known as Azimuth Biotech. In this action I attempt to show that I am no longer concealing my identity, but I do nothing to reveal the organization, intent, scope or competency of our operation.
Two centuries ago, a freelance deep-space survey team under contract to us interacted with an advanced, conventional galaxy-scale or larger civilization with little thought given to safeguard or consequence. Our interaction seems likely to have directly resulted in retaliation, possibly escalating to the ongoing conflict between civilizations. Our goal was the acquisition of SSAFM technologies for refinement and production into conventional weapons systems. Our specific intent behind this effort is still unknown, but is likely to have been simple market interest given our near-sighted and small scale corporate profile of the time. For reasons not fully clear, I directly engineered or allowed a stage competitor called Pharmasapien a majority victory over my organization. This had the planned result of providing enduring cover-by-proxy against the lethal prosecution of the psychotically amoral crimes I am accused of committing as Caleb Wycherley. This also resulted in provisions allowing continued pursuit of those crimes to this day as evidenced by the direct murder of the crew and technical compliment, over four thousand persons, of a line-acting megaship actively engaged in the defense of humanity.
Since then, Azimuth Biotech has pursued our original goal for unclear purposes, which are recently styled as defensive in nature and critical to the prosecution of a conflict we may be largely responsible for initiating. Once before we attempted to field a superweapon to end this conflict. We were wholly unsuccessful, and further we facilitated a rapid change in the nature of those elements hostile to humanity. This change may provide those elements the means to easily and suddenly defeat our current retrial of our superweapon tactic. Given the technical connections between our efforts and a past existential threat to the aggressor civilization, large scale fielding of our devices followed by a widespread defeat mechanism could easily result in the end of Human civilization and the erasure of human technological presence in this galaxy and potentially all other galaxies where such a presence exists.
My anti-xeno superweapons have drawn unprecedented and incredibly lethal responses from elements hostile to humanity which are of as of yet unknown in both disposition and strength. The billions of lives placed at risk by these actions may now be living on borrowed time. We are currently developing the next generation of these superweapons behind closed doors as a cloaked and criminal enterprise. We have no support from the broader technical and scientific expertise of humanity, and we maintain no links to those brave soldiers, commanders and leaders who have been fighting these battles in the clear for many years. My personal intent appears to be to present an existential threat to the aggressor civilization in its entirety. I give my word, as a casual deceiver and a murderer of human beings, that I will be successful in crippling the innate defenses of a civilization millions of years in advance of Human technical accomplishment, and that I will single-handedly be responsible for the deliverance of Human civilization from this vast and increasingly animated threat.
I claim that I Caleb Wycherley am no more, but here I am, and I am proud of my past actions in their entirety and the accomplishments gained as a result. I may be sincere in my intent to save humanity from annihilation, but should I be allowed to pursue this course, unilaterally, at any risk, just as I have described it here and given my untrialed, unwarranted, and historically ineffective nature?
