COMPLETED CG META DISCUSSION Retraction requested for misleading Galnet Article

The Press Office of Aisling Duval Comms would like to register a formal complaint of the recent Galnet article and requests a retraction or revision.

As of the end of the Community Goal, the forces of Aisling Duval were firmly in control of Gondul and no territory was ceded to LYR, whose calculations failed to take into account his acquisition range of influence.

We would also like to thank all the players aligned with other Imperial/Alliance/Independent powers that assisted the forces of Aisling Duval in this CG.

And to the Feds we say: we'll get you next time!

It is absurd that the journalist that reported on the Community Goal chose to report on the Powerplay status of the systems, instead of the very thing the CG was scoring. I wouldn't be surprised if this journalist has a side gig for Sol Today or has some ties to Sirius Corp.

By score the CG was absolutely perfect, to the point it wouldn't have mattered at all if enemy bonds were split into 2 CGs - Aisling 68.6 billion versus a combined 65.4.

By powerplay status the CG was effectively flawed - Aisling supporters that weren't pledged to her couldn't earn merits towards reinforcing the system, so the two reported systems shouldn't have dropped from control to begin with.
