If a faction retreats from a system, what happens to any bases it holds?
They go to the controller afaik. If a faction retreats from a system, what happens to any bases it holds?
Songloi, had a PMF retreated 16 Mar (Elite Space Wings) and they are still showing ownership of 4 stations: https://inara.cz/elite/starsystem-stations/16570/Unless it's the controller being retreated, in which case they go to the faction with the highest influence.
(If the two highest factions are tied in a conflict at that point, no idea how it picks between them)
Inara can sometimes be out of date as I think it requires someone to land at those settlements with the right plug in to update the website. However, if the settlement shows up as being controlled by ESW in-game a month after being retreated, I'm going to suggest that you might want to contact FDev as that looks like a bug.Songloi, had a PMF retreated 16 Mar (Elite Space Wings) and they are still showing ownership of 4 stations: https://inara.cz/elite/starsystem-stations/16570/
GALMAP shows the same, EDO bug perhaps?
Not a problem - system along with 2 others flipped and offending faction being retreated to maintain PowerPlay fortification bonus on profitable Control System. Just trying to understand BGS better.
There's an ongoing bug related to this in the T Tauri system.Inara can sometimes be out of date as I think it requires someone to land at those settlements with the right plug in to update the website. I wonder if there's some kind of farming exploit you could set up with this. In theory you could walk in, gun everyone down and you'd have no bounty within the system, so these could replace anarchy settlements for that purpose, if you didn't have any nearby
Next time I'm in-game I'll land and see if INARA updates; will also check the GALMAP, last time I remember it was still ESW, but then again, I'm old and memory can sometimes be Odyssey-likeInara can sometimes be out of date as I think it requires someone to land at those settlements with the right plug in to update the website. That was it; thanks, landed with EDMC running and INARA system page up - landed, hit refresh page and INARA updated. Thanks for the info - all is right now - easy once you know how o7 CmdrsInara can sometimes be out of date as I think it requires someone to land at those settlements with the right plug in to update the website. Inara only updates assets that switch ownership via conflict reward. Settlements gained via wars that aren't the asset reward or assets gained from retreating factions Inara can't track so they need to be docked at with EDMC on or if it was your doing updated manually on Inara.Inara can sometimes be out of date as I think it requires someone to land at those settlements with the right plug in to update the website.
