Retro-active exploration credit is not working properly.

Many systems I fully explored (and suspect I was first discoverer) show as explored, but have no "First Discovered By" attribution.

A good number DO, but many do not.

Any iea what's going on with that?

Yep. Only one idea - you were not the first there)))
Or if there no any attribute by the othe CMDR - it's an issue.

Yeah it's entirely possible I wasn't the first, but there still should be SOME "first discovered by" attribution, right?

Many of the systems I've visited and explored do have "Discovered by <someothercmdr>", so something's still amiss.

How thourghly did you scan them? It has to be a detailed surface scan to count and the system must be previously undiscovered. Anything within 200ly of Sol, Achenar or Alioth is unlikely to be eligible.

Depends on what date the discovered by information was retconned to. It may be that some of the Gamma data pre-empted your journey?

Also did you safely sell that data in the same life as it was discovered? If you die with the data unsold that won't count either.

you have to sell the data, I scanned some systems before 1.1.,died, and had to rescan them yesterday to get credit after turn in.

Here's one of the dozen or so systems I checked that should have SOMEONE as the discoverer:

I sold all the data, I'm almost certain, but that is an interesting point. If I hadn't, would the exploration data remain in my navigation guide or would it revert to Unexplored?

Don't know about the discovery data. I've got the opposite issue, I have a bunch if systems I sold the data of that I'm credit with first discovery for, but that I can't view on the map.

I have the same issue as Skuli, i scanned my home systems last week with an advanced & surface scanner and some of them were definately uncharted. I sold the data correctly. I hope it's a bug.

I have a theory about that.

The commander who was the first to discover the system has died after he sold the data, but before 1.1 was launched.
