Retry connection to Frontier servers?

I play on PC. Quite frequently, given my ropey Internet connection and dreadful router, I'm disconnected from the game and find my way back to the main menu, where I'm told the game is unable to connect to the Frontier servers.

Could anyone tell me if there's a way to get the game to retry that connection? My net problems are usually transient and (as far as Windows is concerned) connection's normally restored after at most a minute or two, so it'd be really useful to be able to get the game to try again without having to exit to desktop and reload.

Any suggestions gratefully received. :)

What network card do you have and what driver version is installed? Wireless or wired?

What kind of router is it? Is it running the latest firmware? Do you use UPNP or have port forwarding set up?

If your router cannot support upnp use port forwarding much more stable.
Looking the net log file

At the top, you will is upnp is working or not.

I switched 2 years ago, never looked back.... no rubber banding since either

Have you tried to... wait? It works on PS4. If you get disconnected to the main menu it will re-connect as soon as there is an internet connection again.

Thank you for replying, and thanks for the suggestions, but I really just wanted to know if there was a way to force the game to try connecting again. A key I could press, or something, just to save me having to log out and log back in again.

Yes, thank you. I've tried waiting what seemed to be a reasonable length of time; but bearing in mind exiting and reloading only takes five minutes or so there's little point waiting much longer than that. As I said, I just didn't know whether there was a command to force a retry. I'm going to assume there isn't and stick to reloading. Thanks anyway.
