Returning $75 Beta Buyer...no starting bonuses at all?

Hi folks, I've been away for...a long time. Having said that, I was one of those who shelled out $75 over a year ago, May 2014 to be precise. I've just logged back in after getting the new launcher and files...and launched the game. I must be remembering things incorrectly because I didn't think it would be a complete start with sidewinder and 1000cr as the only starting option.

Did I miss something or have I simply got it wrong in my memory?

You get a free Eagle(you'll have to dig around to find it I guess), access to the founders system which has every ship, every module and at a 10% discount to all. As well as access to high pay out missions from the start.

You missed the KS pledge tier rewards by a few months - so the Sidewinder is the only starting ship for you.

You should have bought in in time to get the Mercenary Edition with the free Eagle - it will be located somewhere near your starting location.

So, is that Premium Beta (can't remember the timeline exactly).

I think that entitles you to the Merc edition which should get you the freeagle

I think only Kickstarter backers, depending on their level, could start with a Cobra in different starting locations and with different loadouts.

EDIT: Ouch, triple ninja'd...I am fail

Correct on the eagle, wrong on the founders world. Founders world was only for kickstarter backers, and some bugged alpha/beta backers.

I have to check this when i am back in populated space, I beta backed, and so got access to the Merc Edition, got my freeagle, but oddly enough I dont have the Merc ship paint colours. I have the skull decal but nothing else. I do need however to confirm this but from memory last time i kitted out an Eagle to go pew pew with a friend, I had one i bought and the default.

Will check and ticket it at some point

Just to point out, my friend Azhag who plays ED - his free eagle was 120+ Ly away.
He had to play for a few days, to get a better FSD to be able to go and get it.

I laughed, a lot :D

(Mine was in the same system as myself, and another friend started in the system where Azhag had to go, and his free eagle was docked at the same station - was soooooo funny)
