Returning ED after a few years: What do to?

Hello CMDRs,
I'm coming back to ED (thanks to the GeForce Now service... that by the way works flawlessly) after Frontier dropped the support for the PlayStation.

Now I have the opportunity to try Odyssey. The question is.... is there any activity I can join? I'm reading that now the Boubble is under siege by Thargoids. Is there any way I can join the fight or provide help in any way? Can I find somewhere any mission related to this event? Is there any guide on what activities can be done?

There are lots of vids about what/how/where concerning the Thargpod invasion. An info update is published regularly. You will need to see what thargoid fighting stuff that you need to obtain. Mission boards in the area have mission such as evacuation and supply.

Also, buy some G3 Odyssey suits and weapons from the Pioneer stores. Check out the sharing/caring thread for the on foot stuff already found that can be bought.

No, on PC (an old 2 in 1 Windows tablet PC) + TV. Mouse and Keyboard as controllers. Here my setup:
