Returning from Jaques - Drinks to pass the time

As the title says,

I'm on my way back from Jaques - i did the exploration CG and made 50 mill. Got bored, so I thought I'd head back to the bubble, or somewhere nearer to it anyway.

I'll be flying at late / early hours (UK), can anyone recommend a nice tipple to pass the hours whilst pootling along?

I can't remember, what liquor is it Jaques is famous for? Wasn't it some sort of Whiskey? And you didn't stock up before you left? ;)

I enjoy whiskey and bourbon while I explore and trade. As per brand I don't know what is available across the pond.

Throw a few suggestions into the ring, we may have them over here. Always interested in a new taste / experience

I have a few for you to try, but I cannot guarantee your ship will make it back in one piece!

Have you tried a "Whisky Mac"? Use a reasonable Whisky, and do a 50/50 mix with Stones Green Ginger Wine (I have not tried Crabbies, so I cannot offer an opinion on it). Stones has been going longer than any Scottish Distillery, and only 2 Irish Distilleries have been going longer.

Another drink to try is "Monkey Brains" (looks revolting, looks are deceiving). Take a Brandy glass (needed for the shape), and half fill it with lime cordial (needed for the sharpness). Now slowly drizzle in some Baileys (nice thin stream). As it hits the lime cordial it will curdle, and should end up looking like a small brain floating in embalming fluid.

Enjoy (hic)!

Why not play a drinking game?
Every time a white dwarf appears, down in one.
Every time a black hole appears, two shots.
Every time a neutron comes up.....
You get the picture! :D

Mind you, never drink and fly...

I have tried this some years back and it was utterly repulsive , chunky bits of curdled cream bathed in alcohol (great mix lol).

Might I suggest a bottle of this blended whiskey (Monkey Shoulder, its a lovely tipple) ... http://www.bottledandboxed.com/prod...s&utm_term=1101500695982&utm_content=All adds
