I left the game in 2018 when I became burnt out on with the engineering grind. I just started playing again ~3 weeks ago and am looking for some people to run massacre missions with. I used to play with some people who have left before me and are not planning on returning. I have not done much engineering, I have unlocked most of them, but only have FSD over level 1. I am looking for a group of people who need another for Wing missions, preferable massacre, and are willing to take on a very average player, average at best.
The other thing I would like to do is find a ship to gear out for PvE combat, PvE only, that I can use without engineering. I know engineering is extremely beneficial but it is the reason I left last time so I don't want to jump back into it immediately. I need a ship build that is easy to fly, sturdy, works without engineering, and is not a cutter or corvette. I would like to unlock those two ships, but that is not happening in the next week.
I have ~700 mil credits right now and another ~250 mil in ships. I Think I can afford to gear just about anything out that I have access. If I can find a wing to group with and I enjoy the experience I will look at engineering down the road.
Lastly, I could not find a LF wing section on the frontier forums so if there is another way to look for a wing please let me know.
