Newcomer / Intro returning to orginal controls settings...

I am giving up on t he hotas throttle/joystisck and want to go back to the orginal elite dangerous control settings. can I do this by downloading the game again? If not, what do I need to do?

No need to re-download. Go to the Options, Controls. At the top there will be a drop-down box to select the type of control you want to use. Pick one you need - will be back to factory defaults.

hmm tried that but must have done something wrong. I tried to set pitch up/down to the mouse +Y axis and -Y-axis but it was not accepting it. other controls were good. thought it was because of the joystick. not sure what problem is then. using mouse/keyboard btw.

To set pitch to mouse Y-axis you need to set Mouse Y-Axis to Pitch in Mouse controls section.

ytes I finally figured it out. thx. glad to finally quit t rying to get the dang joystick throttle to work right. back to mouse and no more worries. lol
