Linux deserves to receive the port more than apple miscreations.
Apple being the company of shady and greedy practices only has itself to blaim.

.... wouldn't touch windows 8, much less 10 with a pole and ... ...
So, I guess I've been assimilated but what's wrong with 10? I've been using it since it came out and once I'd relearned where everything is, have become quite happy with it. It seems stable and reasonably fast to boot - taking just one third of a coffee.
There's moltenvk they could have used? Yeah more than 2 graphics api's would be a nightmare i'm sure. Directx gets 2 platforms (??) so it would be great if the other one got the other two (sorry linux.. unless linux has a strong vulkan infrastructure already, no idea).
Yep me too! W10/8.1 as a whole haven't given me to many problems and i can't say the same for w7 through w98! As for telemetry stuff block it with a firewall or disconnect from the internet if you think your that important! So, I guess I've been assimilated but what's wrong with 10? So, even though I have a "Mac download" available at the Frontier store, it will not run on any current or older Mac?
There are a number of things I'm not fond of with Windows 10 and I could go into listing them here, but it's getting a bit off topic in this thread anyway. Suffice it to say that Windows 7 works the way I want it to more than Windows 10 or even 8, for that matter. I (admittedly rather subjectively) see Windows 7 as the last real Windows PC desktop OS. It just works for me rather well, with only having a few presently minor limitations due to Microsoft and other vendors phasing out support of it. So far as I can tell at this time, Linux will be my primary desktop OS platform going forward. I've already made the transition on my main laptop for some time now. I'm still a holdout on Windows 7 as the primary booted OS for my main desktop PC, due to having more complicated and proprietary systems (both hardware and software) running on it. For some of these same reasons, Windows 10 isn't as viable on it either. So, I guess I've been assimilated but what's wrong with 10?
