Revenant debuff is required

Revenant's gun is too OP - it fires too far and too often, the capacitor is too big for such a tiny drone.
Kinetic weapon is pointless against drones on distances bigger than point blank. Laser guns are weak and will be depleted anyway due to the unstoppable revenant's spawn.
Plasma and rocket weapons? Hah! "Sniper" rifle is completely no help here.
(This is another issue of plasma weapons - you are able to rest a bit until the projectile reaches the target)

I suggest to reduce the firing distance and RoF of Revenants and their spawn rate.
At least.

Current settings are annoying.

This is a rocket launcher, of course it should deal a lot of damage, but still it's fun that you should upgrade it to get the damage amount for one shot.

If this is all that you can offer here, then I say it's critically not enough.
Personal weapons are not good for most distances, SRV Scorpion is a total joke with its jitter...
But revs can shot down your tank ship from a respective distance lol.

I have no trouble with hitting them, again.
Only if you mean by trouble that I don't have the 100% accuracy on every distance.

Read again: they fire too far and too often, from any distance, except point blank, weapons are becoming ineffective.
At least all other on-foot enemies don't have such a big firing distance, it's ok and fun. Pretty balanced.

Revs spawn rate...
Why we can't kill them and relax for five minutes?
Destroying them is totally pointless. Not, if you grind combat rank and need those precious 25k reward.

That's why the game is stagnating, devs don't know how to balance.
Revs? Spawn them in infinite number! Let them fire from horizon!
New AX gun? Give it 10% of damage and heat generation like in hell.
Ugh.

Dude, I played ED for hundreds and thousands of hours. Stop acting like this.

The issue can be easily solved, so I'm suggestioning this:
1. Reduce the firing distance from 2 km to 200 m, like any drone, NPC and player.
2. Increase the spawn rate from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, at least.
Mixing the ship and on-foot gameplays like this is not good.

its fun indeed! and fair. no instant kill from store bought, you have to work for that. at least a bit. g3>g4 really isnt that terrible...

i have kinda similar feeling. if this is all you have, its not enough.

you absolutely can kill revenants with all kinds of weapons.
i have some g4 plasma sniper that works really well, just dont stand in open space and wait for them to stop moving.
my g4 plasma pistol works fairly well. its a little more annoying but works well for when i suddenly run out of rockets. worked well when i had just a g3 rocket to finish them up.
i tried g3 aphelion and while the damage was considerably lower, the long range hitscan precision made up for it.
i tried g3 kinetic carbine with stability and while i find it far from preferable it did its job fairly well.

do you want me to let you in on a little secret?
shield grenades are your friend.
if you want to rush it will give you the space you need to clear way and/or proceed.
if you get in with your srv and park it well you have 'infinite' access to 'invulnerability'

then dont get out of your ship i guess? respectfully i really dont see where you want to go with this... horizons?

Is 2 km, ok, 1km enough for you to hit revs in answer?
I'm ok with their HP or movement patter.

I say - they fire TOO FAR and TOO OFTEN, they just spam you with attacks.
Add to this mess, their ability to infinite spawining and you'll have not fun but annoying gameplay.
They are on-foot mobs and should have some balance.

I'm just asking devs to make revenant as the adequate ON-FOOT mob.

Like I said, try to face rev and Scorpion on 1 km distance and you'll see that everything is not good here.

Just combine revs and Scorpion, obvious opponents, and you'll see that everything here is not just fine.
You have a right to disagree. I’ve killed over a hundred and was killed by them once, and that was because I made a mistake. There’s ample tactics that work against them and I say they’re fine as is and a nerf would make them too easy. They actually could use a buff. If your approach with the scorpion doesn’t work then maybe try something else.

Honestly, Scorpion was made for combat, but it's useless. It's better for exobio than for combat lol. Such a joke.

It's ok to fight with revs on ~150-0 meters distances. I see no problem here, almost nothing to fix.
But firing distance multiplied by RoF and spawn rate are disgusting.
I just want these things to be changed.
