Hello all, I'm here to share my first ride-blueprint to the public. I've spent 3 days on building a rapids ride: Step aboard a raft and set sail through a pirate harbour. But suddenly you float off into the rainforest where you encounter a long lost treasure. Can you make it out without angering Tlaloc?
I've used 4000 pieces most of which are in the custom rock walls using the new adventure pack. I was inspired when I saw pictures of a scale model of a new, to be built, waterpark in Belgium.
My overall goal was to create a general experience within the ride area, having the queue snake over the temple you can get a few glimpses of what is to come, but without spoiling too much. There are 2 squares with stalls at either end where you can get a good view of the ride. I tried to make it as realistic as possible, especially at night when the lights turn on. I tried to hide the lighting fixtures in elements of the scenery but not neccesarily by clipping them into things.
The finale in the temple is sequenced. I think it's a nice crescendo for what it really is, haha.
For the rest I've used the blue tiles to fake the water around the ride so it could be a proper blueprint, it appears to me like the incredibly blue water you see around rides in Europa Park, e.g. Poseidon.

I'm sure I will create a showcase video soon about the ride. For now, hold on tight
If you have any opinions or feedback on how I could improve my works, let me know!
Also not to raise confusion, I use two names around forums and games. First being KPJ for games, the second one being Maxlaam for mostly game-unrelated stuff. Not sure why I chose Maxlaam for this forum
