Newcomer / Intro Reverb G2 and Elite Dangerous.....Spectacular.

I just got a reverb g2 a week ago on a preorder.
It has blown me away.. like completely... I used oculus with elite before as well, and it was pretty nice, but this.......

It looks simply and utterly spectacular.

This game was BUILT for VR. The immersion is real.

I've been playing elite since the 80s with a commodore 64.... my gosh it has come a long way.

It's true that Elite has come a long way.

Hopefully VR headsets will do the same for the miniaturization.

I agree that VR is still quite expensive, but I have an old Rift that I've literally worn to death. It's still running with a few tape mods, and it's probably the best money I have ever spent. The immersion of being inside a spaceship instead of looking at a flat LCD panel is mindblowing, especially when using a HOTAS.

Once the Reverb G2 gets available where I live, I'll buy one of those. Even if I have to live without food for a couple of months. VR is that good!
