So to counter the colonization scramble/leaving bare outposts and incentivize cooperation, how about rewarding people who drop resources at other's colonization ships? Donate enough and get tier points for your own systems or if greater range is eventually implemented-points to make longer claims/staking. Incentives for helping others could go a long way to fostering community and interest in the game/this new feature, also helping to build up systems that might otherwise be bare.
