Just buy a couple of cheap storage ships and stock up - you can sell and rebuy from them.
You mean buy a T6 for arguments sake put a Pris-Shield on it and sell it?
If that's the case I'm not after extra money I just wanted to leave the Princess move to another faction but still have the ability to get the shields later or am I missing something, sorry if I am not had me coffee yet

You don't get extra money - the important part is the "rebuy" bit. I bought a couple of ships just to store prismatic shields on them before I left so I don't have to bother with her again.
For example I bought a couple of Vultures and Clippers to store 5A and 7A prismatic shields on them before I left. When the FAS was released I bought one, switched to a storage Vulture, sold the shield, switched back to the FAS and used the rebuy option to equip it. You lose 10% when selling the storage ship and that's it.
It's worth noting that the nodule may be gone from rebuy after switching ships, so it's a bit risky.
