Rework of the ATC for takeoff and landing traffic.

It's not just the Passenger ships, though I will say that type-9s USUALLY show a modicum of courtesy. In answer to my approach, once I'm lined up I full throttle. Moment I get to the mail slot it's gear up let's go.

When you drive you to watch what other people do right. You always expect the unexpected and worry about what idiots do on the road. It the same thing with the entrance of a station.

Honestly the main change I'd like to see when it comes to ATC is to have the "leave station" timer wait until you're actually out and clear of the station before disappearing. If you follow the speed limit you get trespass warnings for being near the mailslot even though you still had four minutes left on the clock.

Likewise there's been times where I've been heading out and someone's swung around from out of view of the slot, forcing me to pump my brakes and reverse to avoid a collision - but because the nose of my ship brushed the slot's field then I guess I've officially left the docking bay and it's time for the klaxons regardless of how much time I actually had left to leave. Trespass fines for giving way to larger vessels, hooooo.

Wouldn't that mean flying through the bulk of the city? Remember, the bay in a coriolis is just the low-gravity centre, with the outer higher-gravity areas for living etc in.
Well yes with elevators, and engines OFF they would be on a platform like on the outposts. The stations are big enough so it is possible to add these coridors between the living spaces. There's not much sound from it like the turbo boost launch in alot of movies.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa7zDfGVh74 i would like to see that also, boost our way out of the station via a long tunnel would be soo funny.
