doing some heavy thinking on the current modules and their stats. although there are some exceptional modules available worth the time and expense of materials, there are other truly shocking ones that are questionable to even consider obtaining at all....

-Meta alloy Hull reinforcement- I was shocked after getting this module that it came with a pretty average armour rating and very low resistance to caustic damage (3%) at the expense of no resistance to anything else (thermal, kinetic and explosive) being made from the famously strong meta-alloys I was expecting higher. furthermore this module cannot be enhanced with engineers. making standard hull reinforces significantly better for hull strength and resistances. the caustic resistance likewise cannot be increased.
-Guardian power generator- my standard generator (legacy Edition.. no special effects) is more heat efficient and carried 1MW extra power capacity, given the fact that the Guardian power plant us based on sophisticated technology and cannot be engineered I was expecting the same amount of power capacity (maybe a little more) with more efficient heat efficiency. this way it would really stand out as worth the materials!
-enzyme Launcher- A very expensive module, although very interesting I am questioning it's efficiency in combat, with a very low damage on explosion and low DPS burn, what is stopping heavy targets from annihilating you in the period it takes to kill them? this is probably harsh on the module as I do not know wether the effects are stacked or not. but again the fact it cannot be engineered leaves it in the wake of standard modules and the pack hound.
-shock cannon- again yet another module that cannot be engineered, although yes it is very good at dealing damage. it is still yet another size 2 (like just about every other Tech brocker/ Powerplay module) not that this is a bad thing, but it would be nice to have an up scaled module for once. other than this the weapon is lethal fixed and could be worth the materials. I will have to think on this one......
Flechette (fixed), Guardian weapons and cargo rack are truly exceptional. turreted weapons may be viable but that is up to preference. however the stated modules appear to not be worth the said requirements in the slightest. and 2 obvious fixes could take place to make them better. either lower the cost and keep them the same, or increase the efficiency of both weapons and modules. some with the possibility of being engineered others should be left as they are.
I am not talking about buffing them into God weapons and Modules, but a marginal increase of effectiveness would be massively welcomed!
