Ride age problems

This may not be anything, nor may this be the right place to post, but I'm at year 15 and all my starting rides are still old. They went from New to Ageing to Old... I'm on year 15 and they are still old. I read that it take 10 to 14 years for them to turn. Is that from time built or after the last ageing?
Also, I beat all the Career mode (Winter update) and have started my personal park on Harder mode in Challenge, I have one shake stand and three rides (one is shut down because the peeps shun it like it murdered their puppies) and am now $30,000 in debt. Been waiting on the classics to bring me back so I can increase size of park and work with what I got. This isn't a challenge, this is a day and a half of letting the game run and waiting for magic to happen.
Thanks for anyone's help,
Bye bees! [heart]

The time to get your rides from Old to Reviving varies depending on the difficulty setting. If you are on harder mode, you will have to wait around 25 years before your rides revive and become classic.

Hard mode is 20 years.

Medium is 15 years.

It looks like more "fast forward and watch a movie" time for you! :)

The time for a ride to start aging is from the moment you build the ride. If you build a ride in harder mode in year 5, it will take until year 30 for revival and classic status.

I hope this helps you!

Hi,
do the rides become classic if you stop them or do you have to run them all the time and pay for them?

Year 22 now, $60,000 in debt. All rides are still old. They were all built at park opening. Face palm. Saved a pic, but im not making a url for that chitz. Note, I start Planet Coaster, run in background, and play The Sims to pass time cause I aint staring at this for days anymore.

The ride reputation is a bit long. Most scenarios in classic RCT were completed in under 10 years (and a year in PC is longer), but in PC its all about waiting for the rides to start profiting. I don't know if thats the best way to add challenge to the game.

Yeah, if you're going to play with ride aging (which is now optional), it's a good idea to build your park incrementally with the clock running, so you don't have everything get old at once.
