Ride Ticket booth - Open / Close option

I have many rides and coaster with a long queue in my park. Sometimes I want to change something on a coaster or ride. When I want to change something I need to close the ride or coaster. But I have people in my queue so they have to leave it. So that's why I almost never change something on a ride or coaster.

So I was thinking... It would be perfect if the ride / coaster stays open but if you could close the queue at the Ride Ticket Booth. People in the queue can enjoy their ride while new people can't join the queue.

If you close the ride, it will be the same as now. If you close the Ride Ticket Booth, the ride / coaster will stay open.

I wish the exact same thing.

Perhaps I want to undertake maintenance on a ride, I want to close the queue but let the people in the queue ride first rather than having to leave.

Great idea. Most theme parks nowadays close the queue at the specified closing time but not the ride, meaning the ride closes once the queue is empty. :)

Excellent idea! [up] I'd like to have this in Planet Coaster, to prevent my guests from leaving the queue if I close my rides temporarily for editing. One would have to wait before the queue is empty before you can start editing, but that's OK and in the benefit of the guests.

This is a great idea!

It's also kind of achieved when you manually close the park - every-one in the queue gets to stay there, but every-one else goes home..

With the same thing occurring during ride break downs! Particularly annoying on rides with small throughputs and long queue times!
