Rides Not Making Any Money

Hey everyone,

I recently took the plunge to buy Planet Coaster after fighting against the risk of ruining the nostalgia of the Roller Coaster Tycoon series and what can I say, ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ Daniel! What a game!

The reason for my post is that I've just hit a weird snag, maybe its a bug I don't know.

All of my rides started making losses, they were all running smoothly and making a really good income and then out of no where they didn't make any income what so ever. My park isn't old, infact its less than one year so I ruled out high maintenance costs. I also check against the previous 3 months and they hadn't increased, I check my shops and they were still recording income however none of my rides are.

Just to be clear I'm talking about income, not profit. I thought that I would just highlight that so you don't think I'm a complete noob!

A few things that I did which I am assuming didn't have any impact was to run a internet ad for adults and to increase my park ticket prices to $5 per adult and $10 per family. The ques for my rides are all full and people are riding them. I also have them set at a good price to keep everyone riding, it just seems that the ticket sales are not being recorded.

Can anyone shed any light on it for me?

Thanks

Dave

can you post screenshots of your rides not showing income and/or profits?

I figured it out, I'd set no minimum load and no minimum wait time thinking that it would mean people just jumped on as soon as they got to the front...

It didn't go to plan!

This frustrates me so much. Minimum load should be minimum load, not 'the amount of people that get on it'. If the line is full, it should fill up!
