Rides question

I just got this game and I am confused why the ride still says closed when I did a entrance and exit to it.

You might have to manually open the ride if it's closed or on a test cycle.

How would I do that I am really new to this game and I have no idea what I am doing anyways.

The three traffic lights in the ride menu - red is closed - amber is testing(which you need to do before opening a ride) - green for open. You just need to click on the green icon.

Ok I am assuming its just closed because its red. Sorry for the dumb question how do I open it?

Click on the green circle. If the green circle is crossed out you need to click on the orange circle to test the ride first, once the ride has done a full run you can click on the green circle to open it.
