Ridiculous Interdictions

Ok, NPC pirates are getting stupid now with their interdictions.
I'm getting interdicted between 3-5 times almost without fail on every delivery run.
The last one even followed me into the space station area and attacked me while I tried to dock (getting himself blown up in the process).

I don't mind the occasional interdiction now and then to spice things up a bit, but the sheer number of times you jump-interdict-submit-jump-interdict-submit-jump... etc is getting silly.
Its just an annoyance these days!

If you submit and dont high wake out, the same NPC will follow you into supercruise, especially if it is an NPC spawned from a job. That is actually intended. If you win the Interdiction minigame the other ship gets kicked out of SC and you have quite a while without them hounding you (assuming more NPC's dont come, of course)

The only thing, I've found, that you can do other than Hyper jump out of the system is to kill it. Otherwise it will keep interdicting you.

Well, also the players with wanted level gets interdicted a lot more now and chased to space station, not just traders.

Ok, so much for my brand spanky space cow! :(
Got interdicted by a python (NPC).
Submitted to the inderdiction. Was barely (half a second) out of the spin when my shields are shredded, hull drops to 0. In about 5 seconds flat.
Nothing I could do to fight, flee or anything.

Lost the 6 mil of cargo, all my insurance money and everything else.
Sigh!
(Had enough insurance to get the ship back, but then no money left after that)

Gonna stick to my Clipoper for trading. There's no point trading in a T-9 when offering cargo to NPC pirates does nothing.
They just murder you.

I'd offer a 2-finger salute, but I'm too cheesed off to care any more...

But you are qualified in "ridding the pirate scum from civilised space..."
And you have a T9 called Venom?

Lol! I appreciate the irony - but I never I claimed to do this in a T-9 ! ;)
And Venom is my Vulture of Death. :D

And also - that license was given before pirates got an unnecessary boost and leg up as of 2.1

Have 20k worth of engineer materials in my hold (not one of them is over 1k per ton at best), get interdicted 9 times by elite condas and elite fdl. sometimes in a group, sometimes not. Engineer commodities need to not account for npc interdictions, this is just absurd. I can't even use the commodities as the engineers who are supposed to offer grade 5 pulse laser upgrades don't exist yet. I really don't understand how this all makes sense.

Until you hit the station/outpost, where it will be waiting. I've rammed 3 at least when jumping in.

The NPCs related to mission often spawn on hyperspace insertion into a system, then comment about how they're "surprised you made it this far" or something equally inane.

Just turn the ship around and sit at zero throttle with your back to the sun. The NPCs are dumb enough that they will try to line you up for an interdiction and will crash and burn out of supercruise, leaving you free to head to the station unmolested.

My "best" NPC chase was a gunship who interdicted me 3 times on the way to the station, first two I submitted and ran, the last one I fought and won the interdiction minigame. The NPC turned up at the station, but I was well ahead of him. I docked, swapped ships to a combat ship and left the station. On my way out of the station, the gunship attacked me inside the station, he had followed me in (anarchy station didn't seem to care :)). I left and supercruised away to a nearby CZ. The NPC messaged and tried to get behind again, but I made it to the CZ first. I picked my side and started fighting. Then the NPC gunship turned up and attacked me. The NPC was aligned to the faction I was fighting for, one I had been allied to for weeks.
This was all for 4 tons of engineer cargo.

When I have anything in my cargo hold, no matter how worthless, the interdictions never end. I recently made the mistake of flying around a haz res with a couple tons of materials I received as a mission reward and forgot to sell. Never doing that again. Barely escaped with my hull intact and jettisoned them on the spot. This nonsense needs to be addressed one of these days.

It's too bad if you find the commodities you received are needed for an upgrade that you can't unlock until you have done another upgrade needing osmium or samarium. Because if you try taking your engineer materials along on a mining trip, NPCs won't leave you alone long enough for you to mine anything.

And yet we are still in the same crass interdiction situation despite of the intense dislike for this inept piece of game play.

PS. hey devs how's the PS4 port coming along, oh btw we still here awaiting stuff to get fixed.
