I'm having a quite nice little party at my place.

Showed off Elite: Dangerous for a bit, friend of mine wanted to see the original - so I plugged in my redactedbook air into my TV, opened speccy emulator, loaded Elite.

Showed my friend the controls, and left him to it.

20 minutes later he says "Riedquat, that's hardcore man!"

That's because the NES version of Elite is 'easy mode'. Though not as easy as Elite Plus seemed to be The truely hard core play on the Amiga
