My wife bought me a fancy pc and a rift, blimey o’reilly! Can’t type more, I have an eagle that is just so blimmim gorgeous I want to melt into its chrome ness and become as one with the universe. VR eh? Blimey. Utterly blended within the game now. Oh my giddy aunt. Well bled dry done you eff Dee folk. Gobsmacked, bleddy crankered and tootled. 100% genius. And I haven’t even set it up properly yet. 🍺

Gal map is no issue, just set it up for your hotas and learn the zoom pan.
took me a week to get decent at it but haven't had any problems using the map since.

I travelled to colonia in vr by manually hunting for neutron boost stars in the gal map.
this was long before 2.4 and the improved plotting tools.

I really oughta go to bed, work tomorrow, tried an eagle, trusty old cobra and the MAMMOTH anaconda, bigger ships all than you think, that first screen next to a scarab and an eagle! Couldn’t get the rift off my daughter! Funny watching her search under the settee for who knows what with the the thing on. Amazing! Thanks to all on the FD VR boards...and a go on a rift at the science museum last weekend! Oh and my astoundingly wonderful wife and daughter for indulging my space madness. Thanks all, just another five minutes to get to Lembava for a cheap eagle to smash up! Ta. Ohhhhh hav3nt had a go in scarab yet!

Welcome to the 3rd Dimension. We know you'll like it here. Beware, though. Once you go 3D, it's hard to go back to looking AT your cockpit through a tiny window, when you know you can sit IN your cockpit instead.

Good to see the numbers of VR own... followers increasing. Praise depths perception! :D

And it is also funny, how every grown person reacts somewhat the same, being totally blown away and dragged into another world... childhood dream are coming true.
