Seems like both Oculus and Vive are holding back on the price as long as possible...wanting the other one too annouce it first.

Of course. They both want to maximize revenues.

- Edit - In retrospect, I'm guessing that they will be within US50$ of each other. To be more than that would probably negatively affect the infamous VR 2016 launches as (product) monopolies would quickly establish themselves.
