Rift Gave me a Taste then Left me after the Weekend

For two days I was able to experience ED in VR.

But, my headset no longer powers up. I did get a taste and was taken away. I thought it was still a bit blurry on my PC, an Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz, 32 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 Memory, SSD drives, and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Memory but hoped some tweaking might help as I learned the ropes.

Sadly it stopped powering up after 2 days. I just received it from newegg on Friday! Tried multiple ports and multiple computers but the headset would simply no longer show light and could not be recognized displaying a hardware issue.

Submit tickets to both Oculus and Newegg to see what direction I should go next.

Till then, I'll just wait some more, try to make a few million in space. Safe flying commanders!

Bummer! Hopefully since it's only been a few days you'll be able to deal with Newegg instead of Oculus. I've heard nothing but bad things about Oculus, especially lately with the sale.

you should have unpluged the headset ( where it goes into the headset simple plug ) and back in - usually the problem.

After reading comments, then hitting YouTube to see how I open the headset I found the cable was definitely loose! Thanks for the tips, I didn't realize I could unclip that section to gain access to that part of the cable. Whew! Now I can get back to figuring out the best ways to clear the image up in ED.
