yeah, bought the 1070 & Rift today. Was holding out for Amazon to drop the Rift price as I would prefer the Amazon returns but they haven't discounted it yet.

Well. Oculus seem to have randomly cancelled my order. I've submitted a support ticket but lord knows how that will pan out.

So, I bought one from Amazon. Ok it was £40 more expensive but at least I will get it and their returns policy and procedure is worth the extra £40 in my book. Cheapest is not always the best.

No, not unless it's a warranty replacement freebie. Tbh you don't need it. 980ti is good for vr medium and if I were you I would wait and get a proper upgrade

I thought about getting one, but honestly, my Pimax is coming in January and I can't use the tracking or controllers with it. Might as well wait and use the money to pick up some v1 Vive lighthouses and controllers when the Pi8 gets here
