Rift + Touch Controller

I just got Touch a couple of weeks ago, mainly for Google Earth VR and I love it!
GEVR is just mind boggling and sort of leaves me speechless at times but also Games like Robo Recall which I didn't think would be all that are actually really fun.
I knew as soon as I started the intro to the Touch with the Robot who gives you disks for the Computer (another this is amazing moment) how natural and satisfying it all felt and after firing the toy Gun and throwing around them Rockets could see I'd made the right choice buying them.

Also the extra Sensor helps nicely in Elite as I never get any loss in tracking now so another plus.

Now is a good time for a Rift/Touch bundle. Oculus is offering $100 store credit with it and putting a bunch of games on for their summer sale.

Thanks Alec, your wife's reaction sealed the deal for Mr's Spineman, and will be buying the controllers following your and others advice, didn't realise just how much else there was available, got kind of "One track ED mind" syndrome.

I always make sure to turn off the ceiling fan before playin robo recall. Lets just say there is a dent in one of the blades which I don't know how it got there, but my hand sure hurt.

Touch controllers bonus: You get a second sensor, which helps Elite's tracking a lot.

Does anyone know if the touch controllers work with the DK2 or is it only the CV1 that can link them ?

Touch gives you a much wider choice of games available that you can play as well. Not E.D. though as has been mentioned...

Haven't read anything definitive but I believe the controllers, apart from the xbx one, connects via transceiver in the cv1 headset and the dk2 doesn't have this.
It's not just a question of the different cameras.
