'RIght-Click Delete'

Hi All,

My first post here, one of the things I've noticed that is missing (or maybe I've been a bit blind and not turned on a setting) but in the old RCT games, when building things be it a coaster or a static ride, right clicking on an object such as a tree that was in the way would allow that object to be deleted.

Now I've found that if something is in my way I have to pause my roller coaster building, select the object or use the multi select object for items I think I may need removing, delete them, then re-edit my coaster which seems to be really inefficient.

Is there a way already in the game, or could 'right click delete' be added back into the game? Maybe even as a construction option so you turn the feature on if you wish.

Thanks
J

the other way to go. go to edit building mode and delete parts from the Building with a wonderful right klick. magic[squeeeeee]

Thanks, but that only works on a completed structure - still really good to know however!

In the previous game as I was building a rollercoaster I could delete anything that was in the way of the track, there could be two trees blocking a curve and that same right click in 'edit building' mode would remove the trees. Now right clicking during a coaster build removes the last part placed - I think I'd prefer to use the bulldoze button or the delete key to remove the last piece of track built then have the right click to remove obstacles in the way.

Any other suggestions? Or do I have to keep building track, removing obstacles, editing track, removing obstacles etc?

Thanks,
J
