So I play on PC and Xbox, both using an Xbox controller. And on both versions I can press in R3 (click) so I can look freely around using the joystick. Why is it on the 4 I have to use my controller to look around and the right joystick doesn't allow me to look freely?? Did I miss something here? Honestly a deal breaker for me. Who in their right minds want to continually wave their controller around to get a view.... please tell me there's a setting to change this.

It's set to use six axis (motion controls) by default. You can change it in the options (it was one of the first things I changed).

Well, inso much as Microsoft provides the software for your pc and xbox and Sony only provides it for your ps4. It should be a no brainer. Though I can understand you concern, unfortunately, you are in a minority compared to the total number of others who don't have a problem with it.
