New fog looked nice and light rays were nice but one thing struck me. Why the shadows were all crisp? Shouldn't there be very smooth shadows when the light is coming through such a dense fog? I know soft shadows take longer to calculate but it was the only thing that didn't look cool to my eyes.
Adan said that some things are meant for high end pc's. I am pretty sure high end pc could calculate those soft shadows.
I was expecting to see new visual improvements in live game. Like station interiors etc. They were near asteroid base and yet they didn't visit it. It felt like they are still adjusting it and not ready to show it live. But we will see that in beta.
