Ringed ammonia worlds?

I know that ringed Earth-like worlds are very rare, but do we have anything about how rare ringed ammonia worlds might be?
I'm just curious because I came across one: pic 1 and pic 2. Couldn't find many others posted on the forums though.
The planet has an "Ammonia and Oxygen" atmosphere type, and carbon-ammonia-based life. I'll post the exact location and the system map info when I get back to the bubble and claim the discovery.

So, I wonder: how rare do you think such ringed terrestrial ammonia worlds are?

probably about the same as a ringed ELW. On my last jaunt of 3301 systems the count for earth likes and ammonia worlds was about the same. I have come across one ringed ELW and one ringed ammonia world.

Ringed Ammonia Worlds are certainly rare but from personal experience they are not as rare as Earth-like Worlds with rings. I've only ever encountered one Earth-like World with rings but I have seen at least seven ringed Ammonia Worlds. I did not document my early Ammonia World findings but I'm not sure I would have had any more to add, so my guess is on the order of 1 in 10 Ammonia Worlds could have rings but nearer 1 in 40 Earth-likes. My statistics will be skewed, though, as I found six of my seven on one expedition. One odd observation: every Ammonia World I have found with no atmosphere has rings! Here are some screenshots:

Although amonia worlds are rare, I think they are more analogous to Water Worlds than they are to Earth-Like Worlds. I say this because ELW have a much narrower definition than Amonia Worlds do (for instance: Amonia Worlds come in a wide variety of atmospheres, including no atmosphere at all). I suspect that the looser criteria on what is an Amonia World contributes to a higher likelihood of planetary rings, which I also suspect is a similar level of likelihood for rings around water worlds (this is just gut-feel, but I feel like I see a similar percentage of water worlds with rings as I do of amonia worlds with rings).

I know you don't want to get too close to them, as the smell of the fumes really make your eyes water.

So far in my trip :
- 0 ELW
- 5 Ammonia World
- 25 Water World

None of them has rings...
I think the ringed one are only a small part of the overall number, and the above stats probably shows how rare planet type is.

I've found 4 ringed ammonia worlds since my last outing, no ringed earthlikes.

Can't wait for Horizons as one of the ringed ammonia worlds does not has an atmosphere. :D

I've been doing some exploring for a bit now. Where can I find a running tally of what I've discovered?

I should let you know that I haven't turned in my data yet. I'm still in the Black.

Yeah, I think you're right, and ringed ammonia worlds aren't nearly as uncommon as ringed Earth-likes. I've been out exploring for two weeks counting, and during that expedition, so far I've found 12 ELWs and 3 ringed ammonia worlds. The third one might still be a rare one though: it has no atmosphere and an icy ring. Looking forward to landing on that, even if it's probably quite some time away.
