Ringed Neutron Star - I seriously didn't know those exited.

Ringed Neutron Star ?!

Not my discovery, but i seriously didn't know they exist, and i have seen quite some Neutron Stars...

also only 1500 ly from Sol:

They are seriously cool :). I found this gem a couple of months back - ELW moon of a class K orbiting binary black holes, but the gem is the ringed neutron.

Think I've only ever seen 2 ringed neutrons, and both fairly recently.

I love those completely bizarre systems. A ringed neutron star that has a brown dwarf for a moon, and it isn't even the main star in the system hhmmmm ok...
 
The trick seems to me to be to find a ringed neutron star around something other than a black hole. Because rings take the illumination colour of the primary star, not the star they are actually around, and black holes are, well, black, so rings in black hole systems are hard to see unless you're in the Core or a bright nebula.

Or, you know, for FDev to fix that broken lighting... crazy talk, I know! SpaceMonkeyz found this one though, keep meaning to pay it a visit.
