Edgar Mitchell, a man who did for real what we spend our lives doing in simulation, has died.
Edgar Mitchell was LM pilot of Apollo 14 and one of the few humans to set foot on the moon.
I watched his mission in awe and I will honour his memory.

Have been reading up on him today. I knew a little bit about him but his academic and military achievements were much bigger than I realized. He was also a free thinker and had some strongly held views on extra terrestrial life and our own consciousness.

Oh and he walked on the moon.
