A ripping good free to play game. Great for warming up that HOTAS and head tracking equipment prior to the Premium Beta.

I'm having a blast on this one ..

The Sopwith is like a flying IKEA sofa. One of the really nasty faux leather ones with a wooden strut in the middle. Really.

Great fun with the Force Feedback 2 btw.

Anyone else play?

No takers, eh? I figured there'd be a ton of flight sim nerds out there what with all the gobbling over HOTAS setups etc. I did post this in the wrong place though, admittedly. Mods! Mods!!

This video made me laugh my ass off. That is exactly my experience last night.

I am hooked now though!

Managing your air fuel mixture whilst diving hard in to the bounce whilst trying not to over rev your engine or overheat it (radiator flaps ftw) whilst trying to get your vickers guns on the target, whilst trying not to fly straight in to him ..

Epic.

And then a gust of wind sends you in to a tizzy. Turning too sharp? Watch out the wings fall off.
