RISEN FROM THE DEAD! Triple monitor edge distorion

You mean stretching of textures? Hardly any game supports that massive aspect ratio, it is unlikely that ED will for the foreseeable future. Generally, I tended not notice to be honest because it’s in your peripheral vision and when turning head (in game) whatever your looking at is correct.

The stretch is also noticeable on 21:9 displays, and not many games suffer the same issue. In fact ED is the only game I play that has this issue.

I gave up on the triple monitors and moved to a 34" curved Dell. Way more better.

Now awaiting the announced LG 38" curved with 144Hz G-Sync

https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/lg-38-inch-144hz-g-sync-gaming-display/

3880X1600 with 144Hz G-Sync

That's going to be for me when I do my next build with a Zen 2 Threadripper and a 2080 Ti

Off topic, but that monitor is almost perfect, if only it uses the 5120x2160 panel instead, but then even the next gen Titan (after Turing) may not even be enough to drive the pixels.

Have the same issue bugging me here they can't even be bothered to fix the galmap info menu to start bottom left but at some arbitrary 16:9 ratio.

Have a fix for my icarus 180° projector setup ehere the developer has created a custom mode to take out the distortion for ED

Sad the game has to introduce the stretch instead of a linear screen resolution

Surely the clever chaps at Frontier can do something about this. I see more and more games having this support for those increasing numbers who see triples as a step up from VR. Also for those with poor vision (glasses), motion sickness who cannot use VR or for those who don't want to look silly. VR is already dying out like 3d TV's.
