Hi all! This is the second item in my Georgian architecture set, I'm playing off the common theme of magic and the dark arts, witchcraft and the unknown, with each building containing a backstory linking into this land.
Rivaldo, the great and powerful, was one of Europe's most famous magicians - a philanthropist, explorer and socialite. However, after a blunder on stage involving a malfunctioning trapdoor- Rivaldo was outcast from the world of show-business. Disgraced, and desperate to see his name in lights once again, Rivaldo set around the world to compile the deepest and darkest curiosities which could inspire and shock his new audiences, as well as the most unusual flavours and ingredients for his treats. But, he is a secretive man, and only a small collection is displayed to the public in his famous House of Curiosities. Rivlado rarely visits his own shop, too busy searching the darkest corners of the world, but it is a fantastic point by which we can peak into the life of this mysterious and illusive figure.
This little shop of curiosities sells novelty items from Rivaldo's adventures as well as hand-made sweets in unusual flavours to excite even the most daring taste-buds. Rivaldo's also contains a photobooth where families can have their portraits taken and developed as if painted in the vintage Georgian Style.
