River Boat Ride

I know that the river boat ride was not a part of the Beta release, but I am hoping some of you might have an educated guess to answer my question. I plan on having a river with the boat ride in my zoo. If the river divides two habitats, will I +still need a fence between the two? I'm guessing yes. Could I build a glass fence on each side for each habitat and lower it to the waters height? Do you think the animal could escape over it? Does that blue ground button tell me about water too? I'd like for the animals to get into some of the water but not swim to the other habitat.

You may have the widen the river section (like a viewing cutout) that is in the enclosure and make a glass fence across so the river boat goes in a channel, between the glass sections and the animal is prevented from swimming down the river by the glass fence. Another option would be to make a separate water source for each animal and raise the river up so the animals can’t climb the steep bank to the river. The habitat heat map should show all escape paths but it’ll probably come down to trial and error to make a visually appealing river ride that doesn’t allow animal escape.

Depending on the depth the tracks are gonna be at, it's possible the animals will be stuck in their half of the habitat by them. In that case, a null fence on the track itself would be enough.

Having seen your map(Good Job) I assume you want different animals either side of the river. You are going to have to complete the habitat Barriers for them to be recognised by the game, so as long as the animals either side of the river don't like swimming then you should be able to use the null fence option through the edge of the river or if they swim use a glass or fence barrier between the animals and the boat. For going through the middle of an animals enclosure I am not sure weather the Airlock gates that were in the Beta will work for the boat I suppose we will only know for sure on 5 Nov.
