RJP - No viewing galleries...?

As a player who only wants to use JP era themed buildings & decorations, its kind of a bummer that the viewing galleries are not available in the game. I love the ford vehicle tour but it shouldn't be the sole way of seeing the dinosaurs. Even Hammond in the film says that the vehicle tour is only a general part of the attractions.

Here are a few suggestions:
  • Add JP skin for the viewing tower and platform
  • Add visibility to the paths like it was added to the hotel and monorail
  • Add a jungle river cruise, which was mentioned by Hammond in the JP movie and shown in the JW. (This could be a separate DLC in the future that is available for both JP and JW era)

Jurassic World was a zoo/theme park and thus has multiple ways of seeing the dinosaurs via the viewing gallery, viewing tower, monorail, Jurassic Tour and Gyrosphere. Whereas Jurassic Park was a safari park/wildlife preserve and as a result, only had the Park Tour and River Adventure for visitors to see the dinosaurs.

Exactly. I hope they add the river tour. That would be perfect.

A river tour would be really nice, and the paths should definitely add to the dinosaur visibility too when close to the dinosaurs. Apart from that we should just be able to mix the JWE and RTJP stuff. Even better would the JP themed versions of the buildings and viewing platforms that are now missing in the RTJP mode, but I would understand that they wouldnt do that.

That is NOT ture. John Hammond intended to have a lot more attractions and rides, but they were simply not ready by the time when Grant and the others arrived. Here is the quote from the movie:

"More adventurous guests, of course, can opt for our jungle river cruise, or for a close-up look at our majestic...None of these attractions are
ready yet, but the park will open with the basic tour you are about to take, and then other rides will come on-line six or twelve months after that."

In Jurassic Park: The Game. Dr. Harding and his daughter Jesse were on a viewing platform of some sort overlooking the Triceratops herd. Whatever it was we should have that in the Jurassic Park Era aswell.

Hammond specifically said there would be other rides and attractions but that they would only be opening with the basic tour and everything else would come online 6-12 months later. Viewing galleries and platforms are such simple ideas that it's guaranteed the original park would have had them within a year or two.

Other than the Park Tour, the only other attractions for the park in the novel were the River Adventure and Aviary. Ed Regis also mentioned that they hoped to drive among the dinosaurs, similar to African game parks; but considering how the tour vehicles can travel through the herbivore enclosure, it’s pretty much in the game.

The full script only mentions the jungle river cruise and aviary, similar to the novel.

I was kind of hoping for some smaller JP themed galleries 😕
I liked that alot of the amenities from the base game got cute, cozy, and compact JP equivalents but I was hoping that something similar would have been done for the galleries and observation platforms too.
Maybe in the form of observation towers that look like cliche bungalow style tower things or even little elevated wooden patio decks.

I personally think it would be weird to have viewing platforms, when the Park is made for driving around. Not being on foot.

I agree. The jungle cruise seems like a lot of work, so I understand that it should be a separate DLC.
However, adding JP skins to the viewing platforms or adding visibility to the paths should be doable.
