Rmployees at the ride entrances

Employees at the ride entrances

Just a question ... Why are the employees at the ride entrances (the ones with the blue shirts) not listed as employees in the Staff Management?

Are these illegal workers working for a minimum wage without a fixed contract and getting their money without a receipt?

Does the tax office know about this or will in a future update be a financial officer, let's just call him Parkinspector, close our parks due to tax evasion and the promotion of illegal employment?

And where do these people actually do their breaks?

Just a few things that struck me aside about the new resting place.

Yes, but if you read the title of the thread right, then you will see that I speak about the employees at the ride entrances.

As you can see on the picture below, the employee from the shop(with the red shirt) is the only person in my stuff list. Where is the man with the blue shirt. Did he just spend his free time there and didn't get any money for his job?

I think what BreezerHog was speculating is that the next big update that comes with staff buildings will likely include changes to staff management and likely put them on the payroll...

Originally, the Alpha had ticket booths (which were scrapped). I wonder if they had any plans on improving that?

I'm also hoping ride operators are also included with the staff break room feature

Maybe you could build a wall around them and then stop paying them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dne5-D7-Mi4&feature=youtu.be&t=16m18s

I wouldnt mind having a sort of "Office" building heres some more management ideas - https://forums.planetcoaster.com/sh...e-Career-and-Staff-Management-with-Facilities

The new staff facility appears to work just like a normal "bathroom" except its for staff only and refills their energy. Unfortunately, it does not appear to have anything on the inside (its just a blank doorway). It would be cool if we had bigger staff rooms with couches or coffee though [yesnod]

I posted a lot of the same questions here https://forums.planetcoaster.com/showthread.php/29466-Staff-Facility [up]

ooo I never considered these staff were missing on the payroll! [wacky]

I did notice early on that ride operators and queue-entrance-staff was not on the employee management lists. However, I assumed as well their wages was included in the operational cost.

Well, now when the shop vendors will be able to walk free and shift work, I hope those working for rides will be incuded in this as well. However, this is not stated by Frontier. So it is highly possible they will be forgotten. [sad]

So, maybe the employees need to be hired and you can Judge them on characteristics ("shops / rides / queue's") to have the most efficient staff list. At least the rosters would make more sense.

So if one is really bad in ride operating this will increase throughput time?

Im not sure about ride operators but I'm pretty sure they said the ticket vendors/queue staff would be included in the new staff management

Maybe. Still doesn't explain why they don't have emotions or any volition of any description, actually.

This is one of the obvious examples of where the PC management is lacking, and this is an easy fix, too.

Maybe ride operators are paid so little that it doesn't show and they become zombies so have no emotions. [haha] I used to be a ride operator and this was true for me.

Both the greeter and ride operator are currently just entourage to make the game appear somewhat more realistic. They are just doing a random animation and are not really "working" or contributing to the ride's operations. Basically glorified animatronics, so it is fair they are not getting paid.

The ride operates on its own and the ride gates are fully automated. Apparently all guests have a RFID chip in their clothes that automatically withdraws the ride entry fee from their account when they enter the queue (you can even hear the gates making a cute beep when a guest passes them).
