RNG and an engineers suggestion
Having made a comment before about a vegas slot machine and its weighted odds I was thinking
the same needs to be applied to the Engineers RNG, keep it but taper it a little
ie a simple matrix of (complexity & size) vs (time & money) - to thin or thicken the odds a little
Complexity & Size
Level 1 - low complexity so RNG should have a much lower weighting for a lower outcome this will make everyone happy to get some decent upgrades
Level 2 - med complexity - somewhere inbetween 1 and full RNG
Level 3 - Full high complex spin of the dice (but fix any issues causing too many "tails" when you click go again)
Time & Money
Do you want instant results, then fear the RNG
If you let this bake for a week and kick in an addiotnal 10m it improves the outcome
remember, that 10m was subject to grind so grind wise, your grind is paid up
A factor of how busy the Engineer is when you ask them could also influence Monday morning jobs
In summary - thanks for 2.1, Engineers is a cool concecpt but perhaps needs a wee tweak.
