How did you grind the credits?

Just picking the best passenger transport missions and some cargo missions, but my credit balance would be a lot more if I didn't keep doing the charity donations (which give a bigger rank boost than the data missions or passenger transport),

When I go to get that cutter tonight (after the final Duke rank achieved) I'll buy it with a 15% discount in Li Yong Rui space, plus elite rank 5% discount on top of that, and so overall the cutter will basically have been free

Then next week I can start all over in a golden sidey.

OR you can attempt what I'm going to do and that is to fly to a high risk resource extraction zone, and take pot shots at WANTED npc's for bounties, the npcs are already engaged with the feds so they don't touch you, you have to get a few hits just before they turn to 0%, you can easily make 1mill creds an hour for very little effort or risk, depending on your own personal time you could achieve this quite quickly.

I am not interested in a cutter, I'm only going to be doing this for a day or 2 to gain maybe10/15mill then get a semi decent ship for exploring and trade, WHY will I do the opening mission for 1k credits when I can fly to an extraction zone and make 40k off of 1 ship how is already about to die via the feds

Thats how i made my money on Xbox - i was out of the sidewinder in about 45 minutes and in a Cobra MkIII after about 5 hrs in a high RES with my Adder
