Just bought my new FDL in a discount system and had to bring it back to my home port which was about 180 ly away. I know this is well-tread territory but holy heck what a nightmare that was. I fitted a nice scoop but declined the extra fuel tank which was a terrible decision. It was like driving to Disney with my wife when she was pregnant with twins. Had to scoop literally every other jump... Of which there were about 18 or so. Looking forward to pew-pewing with this thing but I don't think I'm going to be straying far from home...
Road tripping in the FDL... Stop at every rest stop.

B rate a Gunship, then put millitary grade bulkhead's and fill her with a B6 shield and 4 HRP's. After you feel my pain then I'll act like you're special.

I brought mine at Jamesons/Founders and only had around 150ly to get back to my home system. Its A rated and fully fitted for combat so the jump range was around 11ly if memory serves. 'Soul Destroying' is the term I'd use!
Fortunately, there's a Comprimised Nav Beacon one jump from home so I've been making good use of it whilst I can
