Robinson Crusoe in space

I'll start by saying I haven't posted in a very long time. I tend to sit back calmly and wait for things to sort themselves out. Today I need to vent.
I went on an assassination mission and when I got there the npc's were frozen. I've seen it before so killed the poor chap and tried to leave. As soon as I get 1 km or so up the fps goes wonky and I get booted out. I can cruise along at 300 metres for as long as I like. I can even wander around on foot. After some dozen attempts to leave I'm resigned to being stuck on this featureless rock.
No problem I thought... I'll send an email or whatever. Now I've been gaming a long time and I'm reasonably intelligent so I thought it would be easy but for the life of me I can't find a way to email someone to say " I'm stuck there so just put me in space anywhere so I can go on playing"
The barriers that have been put up to carrying out such a straightforward thing are ridiculous . I've been trying for hours to get somewhere. Its now so late on a Friday its unlikely it would even be seen by Monday . So thats me stuck.
I would also admit I've turned my nose up of people who report bugs on a forum that plainly isn't for bugs . Totally get it now and my heartfelt apologies.
ps. not leaving ED before I get asked for gear! If anyone could give me a link that would suffice cheers

Try relogging into Horizons. That should hopefully boot you into the orbit - or at least allow to leave the planet.

Fly some 20km away from the settlement, land, log out/exit and log back in. You should now be able to enter supercruise without a crash.

FYI to reach support, visit the Frontier support site (linked via the Support button on the launcher, or you can get there through the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of this page, or I believe there's a menu item in game as well). The counterintuitive thing is that, to help them classify support requests, on that site they make you find the help article closest to the problem you're having. Each of those knowledge base articles then has a button at the bottom to open a ticket.
