Rodent Pack

I like it and would buy it. Though I'd rather have the Crested Porcupine from Africa, just having a porcupine would be neat. And of course, the capybara is a huge want of mine. The Groundhog is a little too common for me personally, but it may not be that way for everyone, and I can't think of an alternate rodent that would work as well. Good suggestion!

I would love the naked mole rat! People forget them they’d be a cool exhibit animal

I don't think anybody 'forgets' it, it's just that in the past Frontier has said that the exhibits are for specifically reptiles and amphibians. Mammals need far more complex conditions in terrarium environments (even naked mole rats), and would require a lot more animation (reptiles and amphibians are often more-or-less stationary for long periods in captivity, mammals are of course not). Depending on what the new terrapin is like in the Aquatic Pack, we might see this changing, but that's just conjecture.

+1 for beavers, capybaras and crested porcupines! I think those 3 would be enough for me regarding big habitat rodents. I would not nessecery sell it as "rodent pack" though. Would be fine with me if these animals would be in different packs.

I would like to have the Capybaras and also the porcupine but you have forgotten the Chinchillas, the Shell bears, the Marmots and the Rock hyraxes
and the prairie Dogs and there it would make a great rodent pack

Thank You

I would love and would definitely buy a rodent pack but I know I would not fit in only 4 animals:
SOUTH AMERICA RODENTS PACK
Capybara
Mara
Paca
Branickii pacarana

NORTH AMERICA RODENTS PACK
Beaver
American porcupine
Prarie dog
Virginia opossum (I realize it’s not a rodent but would fit in small animals pack)

African porcupine

SMALL EXIBIT RODENTS

Part I
Chinese flying squirell
Oriental giant squirell
European hare
Luzon giant cloud rat

Part II
Cape squirell
Spring hare
African crested rat
African brush-tailed porcupine

Part III
Plains viscacha
Golden agouti
Coypu
Cuban hutia

I don't know how commercially viable a rodent-only pack would be. But there are some species that are desperately needed so I'd really like to see them scattered across whatever DLCs they have planned.

  • Capybara. It's a fun animal to look at and very distinctive, besides after the Aquatic pack it could have the capacity of diving.
  • Canadian beaver, same as the Capybara.
  • Cape porcupine could help fill the gap in small terrestrial mammals. They also could be great for indoor enclosures.
  • Patagonian mara, a more unknown species.
  • Prairie dogs, especially if Frontier eventually decides to add meerkats,
