Rodina (Open world space game with seamless planet landings)

Anyone had a chance to try Rodina yet? It's a very nice little game with seamless planetary landings. It's also available at a good price - pay what you want - direct from the developer. Or $15 for a Steam copy.

Also you have the ability to walk around the inside of your ship, as well as fully customize the interior layout.

It's a bit lacking in missions right now, but there is plenty of stuff to explore and search for.

I did play it, earlier this year I think it was, I didn't like the external view myself, and it was very early days with little to do.

Might have to have another look, is there a cockpit view yet?

No cockpit view yet. Would be a nice feature though.

Whilst the game will never have the depth of Elkte , it still has a great sense of awe and exploration to it.

"Rodina" is Russian for your place of origin, or "homeworld".
